About Us

Priory Mill Farm, located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, is situated just five minutes walk from the Georgian town of Brecon. It dates back beyond the sixteenth century and still strongly evokes a true sense of past times, with its cobbled court yard between the miller's house and the stunning Grade II* corn mill, behind which runs the River Honddu which is a 'Site of Special Scientific Interest.'

Noel and Susie Gaskell, with their children Joshua and Emily, moved to Priory Mill in 2001 intent on preserving and restoring the wonderful collection of traditional stone buildings in its idyllic riverside setting.

To enable this costly and time consuming process to continue, a small, low-impact campsite has been established, plus the space above the stables, formally accommodating mill workers, now provides a luxurious retreat for two [Holiday Cottage].
