Despite its
secluded position Priory Mill Farm is just a five minute
riverside walk from the Georgian town of Brecon with all its
amenities including covered farmers market, theatre, cinema,
museums, leisure centre, pubs and restaurants. The closest pub,
the Bull's Head, is one of Brecon's oldest, with real ales and
good food. The Taff Trail long distance cycle route is one mile
away and the start of the walk up Pen y Fan (Southern Britain's
highest mountain) is approximately two miles out of town.
Below are three
maps showing directions to Priory Mill.

Suggested routes:-
From the Severn Bridge:
Continue on the M4 to junction 24. Take the A449 North to Raglan
where you meet the A40 to Abergavenny. Continue on the A40 to
Brecon; take the second exit off the roundabout and head in to
Brecon town along the Watton. At the second mini roundabout turn
right on to Heol Gouesnou. Go straight over the first set of
traffic lights and turn right at the second set of traffic
lights on to the Struet. Stay on this road heading north-east
out of town (it becomes the Hay Road). Start climbing the hill,
and we're first on the left.
From the Midlands: From the
M5 take the M50 to Ross-on-Wye. Then take the A449 to the south
of Monmouth. Exit at Raglan where you join the A40 to
Abergavenny. Continue on the A40 to Brecon (continue as above).
From the West: Head east on
the A40, until you reach the roundabout just south of Brecon.
Turn left in to Brecon; head in to town along Church Street
(which turns in to Bridge Street). Cross the river Usk and go
straight over the traffic lights on to Market Street. At the
second set of traffic lights, turn left on to the Struet. Stay
on this road heading north-east out of town (it becomes the Hay
Road). Start climbing the hill, we're the first on the left.
